BOUNDARY
Village of Angola NYF Boundary Map
The Angola NY Forward (NYF) Area is defined by the Village of Angola’s Downtown District, centered around North Main Street and Commercial Street. This area features a mix of retail and service businesses, entertainment venues, public spaces, and mixed-use buildings, all supported by walkable public infrastructure.
Encompassing approximately 43 acres and stretching 0.6 miles, the NYF Area is bounded by Big Sister Creek and two railroad lines to the east, NYS Route 5 and Lake Erie to the west, the Goya Foods Great Lakes Facility to the south, and Lake Shore Senior High School to the north. These surrounding assets contribute to Angola’s role as a key economic and cultural hub in Erie County’s Southtowns.
The Village of Angola recognizes its role in enhancing housing, employment, and recreational opportunities in the broader Evangola region. With support from the NY Forward program, the Village will partner with residents, businesses, and community organizations to revitalize its Downtown District, making it an even more attractive place to live, work, and play.
